xxxxxOur Mission Statement

The mission of Sankofa Wholistic Health Care is to provide primary health care through basic education on food, nutrition and culture in an informal environment and to educate on the impact of these on the health and wellness of Black African/African American communities.
A Brief History of Sankofa Health Organization

The Sankofa Wholistic Health Care Festival was conceived and established by concerned Black African/African American leaders in Metropolitan Denver, Colorado who were not happy with the deteriorating health of Black African/African Americans. The greater number of these families fall within the low-income bracket and do not have medical insurance. To address these problems, the concerned leaders formed the Sankofa Wholistic Health Care. The primary goal of this initiative is educating and informing families and children on healthy eating
