Board Chairwoman Erma Weekly is a survivor of several personal health challenges and has healed herself through the use of natural healing techniques. It is this journey that brought her to Sankofa; first as a participant at the health samplers, then as a volunteer and eventually as Board Chairwoman. She does not tire or compromise her goal to attain perfect health. Ms. Weekly helps Sankofa Health Organization adhere to the goal of service to the African/African American Community.

President Rudy McClinon President Rudy McClinon is co-owner of and a certified fitness trainer for R-U-A Pro Fitness, L.L.C which was started in 2002 to address health concerns in the Denver Black community. Mr. McClinon is also the director of Children with a Promised Future; a mentoring program for children of incarcerated parents. This former professional Cincinnati Bengal's player holds a B. S. in Physical Education from Xavier University.


For the Past ten years, Vice President Nanana Evelyn Gordon has been a trailblazer for natural and holistic health in the Denver Black and African communities. She is the trustee and manager of the Source Center for Healing; a collective of natural healing practitioners. Ms. Gordon Holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial psychology from Stevens Institute in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Secretary P. Senakhu Riddick

Secretary Senakhu Riddick is a pioneer in bringing wholistic health care practices to the Denver Black community. Mrs. Riddick is the coordinator of Sista Nubian Accessing Personal Power Through Health Support group and co-creator of Sista Nubians on wheels bicycle riding group. Mrs. Riddick also facilitates hiking in the Black Community bye being a hike leader for the James Beckworth Mountain Club. Mrs. Rid dick is the owner and editor of What's Happening Around Denver Town; an e-newsletter which informs the community of events relevant to the Denver Black Community.

Treasurer Phyllis Reid has studied and worked in the Wholistic Health Field for over 25 years. From 1985 to 1999 Mrs. Reid owned and managed Lefflers and Naturally health food stores. As a health care practitioner, she is dedicated to educating our community on alternative methods in assisting the body to heal itself.

Production Manager Pamelah Maragh

Production Manager Pamelah Maragh has coordinated several prominent festivals in the Denver area including the Taste of Colorado and the Festival of Lights. She is currently the Production manager for the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival. Ms. Maragh brings her extensive experience and talent as an events coordinator to produce Mini-Health Samplers and workshops for Sankofa Health Organization.


Financial Director Sharlene Spencer is an investment representative with Edward Jones Investment Company and teaches Financial Wellness in the black community. She is a mayor's appointee on the Denver Workforce Investment Board which seeks to to understand employment needs and practices in the Denver area. Ms. Spenceris the daughter of Dr. Frank Elliott; the first black Chiropractor in Colorado and grew up in a household committed to wholistic health and abundant living. Ms. Spencer holds a BS and MS in Computer Science and is a licensed series 7 investment broker.
